The Afghanistan Cricket Board has also announced the squads for both formats of the series.

Several players have been included in the squad following strong domestic performances. Noor Rahman, Sharafuddin Ashraf, and Fareed Ahmad Malik have been selected in the T20I squad, while Zia Ur Rahman Sharifi has earned his first ODI call-up.

Meanwhile, Hashmatullah Shahidi will continue leading Afghanistan in ODIs, with Rahmat Shah serving as the vice-captain.
